Two Washes A Day Keeps the Dermatologist Away

A lot of people are under the misconception that since they don't wear any makeup or put anything at all on their face, they don't have to wash their face. This is not true. Simply cleansing your face twice a day will get rid of dirt, oil, dead skin cells and any other bacteria.

To effectively wash your face use:

• A Clean Washcloth
• Warm water
• Mild soap or cleanser
• Toner might also help get rid of any leftover bacteria

Check Up On Your Makeup

If you're noticing that your face breaks out more when you use a certain brand of makeup, switch it up. You should see a change in your breakouts within two weeks. Also, remember to wash off all of your makeup each night before you go to bed.

If you have oily skin, you should switch to oil-free makeup. An overabundance of oil on your face can lead to an increase in blemishes, so when looking through the aisles, check for oil-free.
